Seven blogs bookmarked on my internet browser

Now that I have established that my attention span is very small, I guess it also gives me right to establish that my mood to write changes… therefore, I am not writing about one of promised topics but today I am celebrating my favorite blogs.

I have a practice. If I like a blog, I follow. And when I really like a blog, I bookmark it. I suddenly realized yesterday that I have full seven blogs on my favorites bar.

Let us see what I like about them –

1. Write Tribe – I like write tribe mainly because of the same reason as every blogger does. Corinne provides us with some of the best prompts and reasons to continue writing. When the creativity is dead and all possible topics are drained out, there comes Corinne with her Wednesday prompt or 100 words on Saturday.

2. The Bookish Review – They say do not judge a book by its cover. Therefore, I judge the book by its review. My usual practice is to check out good reads review before I buy a new author. But in case of Elizabeth’s “The bookish review” I read the review and then make a list of books I need to buy. Her reviews are crisp and interesting. She doesn’t only write what is the book about but also tells us what she feels.

3. The philospher’s stone – I love her stories. Short stories and long stories. I love the way Richa works on her stories. More than that I like the time she takes out to read. I have already reviewed one of her stories. Her blog has one of the best updates about all that is happening around her.

4. Life is like this – I started reading this blog by Suresh for his fictions. But what hit me was his stories from treks and travels. One fine day I sat and read all the stories without commenting on even one.

5. A rat’s nibble – I stumbled upon a rat’s nibbling blog when I came across the competition. Though I never wrote for the competition, I fell in love with the nibbling blog. From the artwork to the color combination, it is one of the best looking blog I came across. It is my “feel good” blog. Stories and poems with positive note, beautiful clicks and rat’s signature. It makes me happy.

6. Nandini Speaks’ – Nandini’s blog gives me my dose of poem reading. I am really not a poem lover, I prefer prose to poetry, however Nandini’s posts are interesting and sparked the interest in reading poetry.

7. The one-minute writer – This blog is bookmarked especially for the days when I am lowest on creativity or I don’t have any time to write. One minute write up based on a prompt is the best exercise for my brain.

There are several other blogs that I like to read. There are a few which are more like my news channel. However as of now these are the ones that are bookmarked. Cheers to those who own these. I hope others love to read you as much as I do.

    3. Not at all Corinne :) My non-humor posts hve seldom found appreciation and are treated like poor cousins of my humor posts :) So, finding someone who actually prefers them is a pleasure too :)

NOW - if she had said she hated my humor posts or asked "What humor posts?" then I would have reason to get hurt :)

  6. Thanks a lot sweetie :) it makes me feel so blessed to have been appreciated by you on multiple occasions, goes on to show that through my writing I have been able to bring influence in one prolific blogger at least. But what i really like about you is that not only me you link a lot of us through your blogs. All your series or projects connect us at one single location, let me assure you that if i had to make a list you would also be a part of it *hugs*
