How I wished - 55 on friday

She wanted her family to understand. She was back from her husband’s home because her husband used to hit her. However, her family wasn’t ready to accept her again. They were scared that the society would talk about them.

How I wished I could show them the scars on her back and add some sense.

  1. I wish people didn't worry too much about society and cared enough for their daughters to be there for them. Lovely post

  4. Oh, the pain :( Very well captured,Sugandha. The sad reality that is that physical abuse is sometimes just not seen :(

  5. This is sad. The scars on her body are the scars on our hollow thinking and attitude. Marriage is adjustment but physical and mental torture should not be tolerated.

  10. It's very shameful how families hide under the so-called social norms which is so hypocritical. Good take and very well done:)

  11. Society rules are often hard to abide.. one should have a broader perspective to understand problems like these atleast of their own family member's!
